What Not to Bring

• NO fireworks
• NO unauthorized vending will be allowed
• NO outside food or beverages
• NO kegs or 55-gallon drums!
• NO professional cameras/recording devices (only small hand-held personal cameras without additional lenses are
allowed)
• NO bicycles/scooters, personal motorized vehicles, skateboards, or any form of transportation that can carry you faster than a walking pace will be permitted on Rock The Bayou grounds.
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND!
• NO PETS! Please use local kennels if you are traveling with your pet. Service animals trained to assist an individual
with a disability are allowed.
• Accessories (i.e. collars, bracelets, belts, etc.) with spikes will NOT be permitted.
What Will Be Provided
• Drinking water

• Portable toilets and toilet paper (You may want to bring additional rolls of toilet paper just in case)
• A general convenience store providing any last-minute items you require or may have forgotten (i.e. personal
hygiene products, batteries, etc.)
• Vendors will be selling a variety of local and international cuisine as well as beverages and snacks.
• ATMs – Please bring enough cash with you to avoid potentially long lines.
Getting Here
LOCATION
Rock The Bayou is located at Loop 610 @ Kirby in Houston, Texas, the former Astroworld location.
TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION
Major Airports: Houston has two major airports, George Bush IAH Airport and Hobby Airport. Hobby Airport is the closest, located approximately 12 miles away and just under a 20-minute drive from Rock The Bayou grounds. Bush IAH is located approximately 28 miles away, just over a half-hour drive time.
Transportation: Houston offers a wide variety of transportation services/options to get to Rock The Bayou grounds, including METRO Bus, METROVan, Ride Share programs, and METRORail.
METRORail – Houston's newest mass-transit system - allows passengers to travel from Downtown Houston to Rock The Bayou's doorstep in just minutes!
As part of our greening efforts, Rock The Bayou organizers encourage all guests to take advantage of Houston's METRORail system to get to Rock The Bayou grounds. Carrying approximately 400 passengers per trip, MetroRail preserves resources, alleviates traffic congestion, and provides a quick, efficient, and easy way to travel from Downtown to the Museum District and straight to Rock The Bayou!
Find plenty of safe, secure, and reasonably priced public parking lots along the METRORail route. Hop on the METRORail, which boasts 16 stops spanning from I-10 Downtown to the 610 South Loop and is 100% ADA accessible. With thousands of fans heading down to Rock The Bayou this Labor Day weekend, METRORail effectively and safely cuts through traveled areas. Go green and ride the METRORail, the best - and most environmentally friendly - way to Rock The Bayou!
Metro Rail times for Labor Day Weekend:
- Friday, Aug. 28: All Day - 2:15am
- Saturday, Aug. 29: All Day - 2:15am
- Sunday, Aug. 30: All Day - 12:45am
- Monday, Sept. 1: All Day - 12:45am
Note: If you are not utilizing public transportation, please carpool whenever possible to improve the flow of traffic. Also, when driving to and from Rock The Bayou grounds, please obey Texas highway safety laws.
We will not provide gas vendors, so please fill your tank before entering Rock The Bayou Grounds
Being Here
RE-ENTRY POLICY
- Upon entering Rock The Bayou grounds, four-day ticket holders will receive a wristband good for all four days. Wristbands MUST be worn at all times for entry into Rock The Bayou.
- If you want to leave on foot or are staying off site and wish to come back, you MUST display your wristband to re-enter Rock The Bayou. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and MUST be worn all four days to allow entry and re-entry. Should you remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way, you will NOT be allowed to re-enter Rock The Bayou. If you lose your wristband, you must purchase another wristband before re-entering RTB.
- If you are not wearing your wristband while you are on the Rock The Bayou grounds, you will be escorted off the premises immediately.
- Single-day ticket holders will not be allowed to re-enter Rock The Bayou.
For Your Safety
Please respect and obey the rules while on Rock The Bayou grounds and participate in Rock The Bayou in a lawful, safe, and healthy manner.
Illegal substances and drugs are NOT allowed at Rock The Bayou. Please respect and obey all laws pertaining to drug/substance use.
Illegal/unauthorized vending is NOT allowed on Rock The Bayou grounds, as unauthorized food vendors pose a health risk to all festival patrons. Rock The Bayou will immediately shut down any unauthorized vending to alleviate that risk.
For health, safety, and quality reasons, please do not purchase goods from illegal/unauthorized vendors on Rock The Bayou grounds.
Vendor Village Opening/Closing
Vendor Village is the main area of Rock The Bayou grounds where patrons come to see bands perform and check out food/craft vendors. Vendor Village will be open with activities 24 hours a day.
You MUST be wearing your wristband on your wrist to gain access to Vendor Village. If you are not wearing your wristband on your wrist, you will be escorted off the premises immediately.
