Rock The Bayou Festival Volunteers
Rock The Bayou volunteers will play an integral role in the success of Rock The Bayou. Acting as community ambassadors, Rock The Bayou volunteers will help to welcome, assist, inform, and direct Rock The Bayou patrons to ensure the best festival experience possible. Volunteers will NOT be asked/assigned to handle clean-up duties.
Festival Volunteers
Rock The Bayou Festival volunteers are required to work three shifts of approximately six (6) hours each throughout the four days of Rock The Bayou. In return for their hard work, Rock The Bayou Festival Volunteers will each receive:
- Access to Rock The Bayou Music Festival
- A Rock The Bayou staff T-shirt
- Camping in a designated staff/volunteer camping area on Rock The Bayou grounds
- An unforgettable festival experience!
Festival Volunteer Duties
Volunteers will be asked to help out when and where they are needed most. Based on changing needs, please keep in mind that you may get pulled from one area and get shifted to another area. Volunteers must be flexible and always willing to lend a hand.
Rock The Bayou offers a variety of different volunteer departments, including (but not limited to):
- Information booth
- Flyer distribution
- Sponsor booth
- Staff catering
- VIP maintenance
- Access
- Ticket takers
- Runners
- Security
- Parking Attendants
Festival Volunteer Requirements
- Rock The Bayou volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
- Volunteers MUST be in good health and can be out in the sun.
- Volunteers agree to be ON TIME to all assigned shifts.
- Volunteers must be flexible as shift times and total work hours will not be the same for all volunteers.
- Volunteer positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
