Camping Information
There's no better way to Rock The Bayou than to stay on site for the entire weekend and enjoy the camping experience! As legendary bands rock out night after night, the party continues on Rock The Bayou campgrounds - the former home of Houston's Astroworld theme park. With each campsite measuring 20' x 40', there'll be plenty of room for you to pitch a tent, meet new people, and have a great time!
Find everything you need on the campgrounds - showers, clean portable toilets, hand wash stations, garbage service, 24-hour security, night lighting, and emergency medical personnel. Should you need any last-minute items, there will be a general store set up on the campgrounds selling personal hygiene products, batteries, ice, film, etc. Vendors will also be selling a variety of food, drinks, and snacks sold at reasonable prices.
All vehicles are subject to search upon entrance.
All RVs must be self-contained. Access to electrical outlets and running water is not provided.

The entire RV Area will be exclusively managed by Houston RV Center, a leading RV Rental & Sales Dealership located in Houston, Texas. Services provided for this event are:
- RV Rental Units: Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Popup Campers
- Onsite Mobile RV Management Office with experienced RV Professionals
- Onsite RV Master Technician Services
- 24/7 ON DEMAND Curbside Septic Dumping
- 2000 Gallon Fresh Water Truck w/ 24 Hour Onsite Service
- Providing fresh water refill services as needed or upon completion of dump services.

If you would like to camp on Rock The Bayou grounds, here are some things you should know:
Campground Opening & Closing Times
The campground will open at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008
The campground will close at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
Please do not come early as you will be turned away!
What to Bring on the Campgrounds
• Blanket
• Lawn chairs
• Sunscreen
• Bug Spray
• Sunglasses
• Hats
• Extra pair of shoes/sneakers
• Raingear/small umbrellas
• Earplugs
• Binoculars
• Small hand-held/personal cameras
• Flashlight/lantern
• Portable radio
• Extra batteries
• Plastic bags for trash
• Camping Equipment (tent, sleeping bags, etc.)
• Extra set of keys (please keep your keys with you at ALL times!)
• Coolers – please note that coolers CANNOT be brought onto the festival/concert grounds.
• You may bring outside food and drinks onto the campgrounds ONLY but NOT on the festival grounds
What Not to Bring on the Campgrounds
• NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND (no pocket knives!)
• NO illegal substances
• NO fireworks
• NO unauthorized vending will be allowed
• NO kegs or 55-gallon drums!
• NO professional cameras/recording devices (only small hand-held personal cameras without additional lenses are
allowed)
• NO bicycles/scooters, personal motorized vehicles, skateboards, or any form of transportation that can carry you faster than a walking pace will be permitted on Rock The Bayou grounds.
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND!
• NO PETS! Please use local kennels if you are traveling with your pet. Service animals trained to assist an individual
with a disability are allowed.
Camping Parking Passes
Camping Parking Passes are priced at $40.
4-Day Onsite Car Parking– This parking pass gives you two options:
• If you wish to camp, you may camp on Rock The Bayou grounds with your car. Please note that once you park your car in the Camping Only area, you will NOT have in-and-out privileges.
• If you do not wish to camp with your car, you can choose to park your car onsite daily. This, however, is not guaranteed and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
RV Parking Passes
• 4-Day RV Parking Passes are priced at $125.
• Each RV parking in the designated RV Parking Areas will require ONE RV pass.
• If you wish to stay in the RV Parking Areas, you must purchase your RV Parking Pass in advance to reserve an RV space. If you do not have an RV Parking Pass, you will NOT be allowed to enter Rock The Bayou grounds with your RV.
• Once an RV has parked in a designated space, it CANNOT move to a different space. Otherwise, you will surrender your RV space.
• Each RV space will be 20' X 40'. Tents, awnings, or slides can be set up so long as they fit within the designated space.
• Everyone in an RV MUST possess a 4-Day Festival Pass in order to enter Rock The Bayou.
• Note: An RV is any vehicle that is larger (either in length, width, or height) than a normal 16-passenger van (i.e. oversized vehicles, trailers, buses, campers that are towed).
Camping Only Areas
If you are parking your car off site and would like to camp on site, we will provide limited Camping Only areas, which will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. For your safety, cars and vehicles of any kind will NOT be allowed in Camping Only areas. If you are interested in staying in the Camping Only area, we suggest you bring a backpack or small luggage to carry your camping gear since you will NOT be permitted to drop off people or gear/supplies.
