Venue Information

Rock The Bayou Grounds is located between Kirby Drive and Fannin Avenue, directly south of Loop 610 in Houston, Texas, where AstroWorld was a seasonally operated theme park. The former theme park has been transformed into a hundred acre playground for music lovers and rock enthusiasts.

With multiple stages, VIP Hospitality tents for VIP guests, a vendor marketplace, and plenty of food and tasty treats, the music is only half the fun as guests enjoy a wide variety of entertainment and cuisine.

At the festival grounds, Rock The Bayou showcases a 60-foot permanent stage with full production, special effects and lighting capabilities common to indoor concert venues. Additionally the site includes vendor areas and supplementary stages to allow continuous music for around the clock energy and excitement. Special attention has also been given to providing VIP areas, safe campgrounds, located adjacent to the concert area, garbage and recycling service and RV facilities.

As part of our greening efforts, Rock The Bayou encourages all guests to take advantage of Houston's MetroRail system to get to Rock The Bayou grounds. Carrying approximately 400 passengers per trip, MetroRail preserves resources, alleviates traffic congestion, and provides a quick, efficient, and easy way to travel from Downtown to the Museum District and straight to Rock The Bayou!
